This document is prepared and published by the Take Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the adoption, acceleration, and decentralization of the $TAKE ecosystem.

The Foundation's mission is to advance the next generation of digital commerce through blockchain technology, by fostering open participation, sustainable growth, and transparent coordination across all contributors of the Take ecosystem.

The Take Foundation does not operate any commercial platforms, including the OVERTAKE marketplace, nor does it hold any equity or receive revenue from them. Its activities are limited to supporting the ecosystem through education, community initiatives, transparency reporting, and governance infrastructure.

$TAKE is the native governance and utility token of the Take ecosystem.

It serves two primary functions:

1. Governance - enabling contributors to propose, discuss, and vote on key parameters that influence the advancement and adoption of the ecosystem

2. Utility - providing access to and interaction with ecosystem services, staking mechanisms, verification layers, and other utilities developed by contributors within the ecosystem
