$TAKE

The native utility token of the OVERTAKE ecosystem, used for rewards, governance, staking, and marketplace services.

Activity Score (Aᵢ)

A weighted metric that quantifies the value of an individual participant's actions within a reward pool during a given epoch.

Ambassadors / Evangelists

Community participants who promote the platform through user referrals, content creation, and social engagement, thereby contributing to GMV growth.

Buyback

Subject to governance approval, a portion of platform fees may be used to repurchase $TAKE tokens from the market. The intent of this mechanism is to support long-term ecosystem sustainability by aligning token circulation with actual platform activity, rather than to affect token price. The buyback process may be executed transparently via smart contracts or designated treasury policies.

Epoch

A fixed time window (e.g., weekly or monthly) used for calculating and distributing token emissions and rewards based on participant activity.

Fee Rate (F)

Foundation Reserve (θ₃)

A portion of platform fees allocated to operational reserves, governed by the TAKE Foundation.

GMV

The total dollar value of completed transactions on the platform over a defined period, used as the key metric for platform throughput.

Missionary Utility

Token use cases that promote economic lock-in or value alignment, such as staking, verification deposits, or promotional payments.

Reward Pool Allocation (α, β, γ)

The relative distribution of the emission pool across Buyers (α), Sellers (β), and Evangelists (γ).

Seller

A supply-side participant who lists digital assets (items, currencies, accounts) for sale on the OVERTAKE marketplace.

Sink Mechanism

Any design feature that absorbs or removes $TAKE tokens from circulation (e.g., buybacks, burns, staking locks).

Staking

The act of locking $TAKE tokens into protocol-defined pools to earn rewards or gain platform privileges.

T_total

The total amount of $TAKE tokens emitted during an epoch for community rewards.

Take Foundation

A non-trading economic agent responsible for overseeing buybacks, emissions, and treasury management to sustain the token economy.

Token Emission

The controlled issuance of $TAKE tokens as rewards for verifiable platform contributions.

User Acquisition Agent

Another term for an Evangelist, someone who expands the ecosystem by onboarding and activating new users.
